Rodeway Inn Near University-Gateway To Yosemite - Merced

I absolutely loved the fresh waffles at breakfast and the super clean rooms made me feel right at home. Plus, there are some nice spots to chill and enjoy the quiet, including a relaxing garden area and an inviting pool. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi signal could be stronger, but it didn't really affect my stay overall. 😊

Good and excellent location, highway is right by the hotel. Again, the property is within 20 minutes' walk of Poker Flats Casino.

Fairly clean great value hotel with a well-maintained pool and a magnificent location very close to restaurant and downtown, Rodeway Inn by arrival, and gas and food trucks. Great breakfast at the front desk, and welcoming staff. Easy check-in, parking on-site.

They provided us a breakfast in our room night because we had to leave there before breakfast time.

not a very clean room. Dirty carpeting and all shabby and not new. but one night is fine.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Staff provided excellent service, calling beforehand to confirm my check-in preferences. Enjoyed the location with easy access to Yosemite. The pool offered a refreshing break, although the breakfast lacked variety. Limited options and short hours from 7-9 a.m. caused me to seek breakfast elsewhere. The air conditioning worked well, but I noticed occasional noise from the nearby freeway. A decent stay with room for improvements.

Decent lodge for the price...we stayed on our way to yosemite, the hotel staff were very courteous.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was fine. On our second night, we returned late to find only the bathroom had been cleaned. For some reason the bed had not been made and, whilst the dirty towels and disposable drinking tumblers had been removed, these had not been replaced. As it was late, we managed with what there was and we were leaving early the following morning anyway so did not find out why our room had not been fully serviced.

The air conditioning was a total fiasco-my room seemed like a sauna upon arrival, and it took ages to cool down. And the fact that there's no drinking water without asking is just absurd. I demanded a room upgrade for such inconveniences, but apparently that's too much to ask here. Almost gave them a good review, but just couldn't.

The manager of the hotel, Manny, was probably the best motel manager we have ever met. He was very concerned about our needs. He was extremely polite and helpful. Couldn't rate him high enough!

Breakfast is very poor , just as the front man said in advance ' even so the place will be perfect just by littel improvment of breakfast

The room was clean and medium-sized, with a TV, microwave, and minifridge. The staff was pleasant and provided excellent customer service, including a call prior to arrival to confirm check-in preferences. The air conditioning functioned well, helping to mitigate noise from nearby Freeway 99 and the railroad line. The outdoor pool was a refreshing option during a hot stay, and the location was convenient for accessing highway routes.

The continental breakfast had a limited selection and short hours.

We arrived early in the day and loved the pool. Played cards by the pool and relaxed for hours

Perfect yosemite stop. Awesome frontdesk staff. And I really mean aaweeesomeeeee Clean room. Cute landscape.. Highly recommanded. Please stay here if you are gong to yosemite. :)

Shower head can be alittle higher. Aircon works well but noisy at higest power.
